Wet floor or hot spot?
Need to find that water leak?
A leak detection service is the first step in locating and stopping your water leak. If a leak is hidden in the walls of your home or below your concrete slab you can count on our extensive building and plumbing experience to quickly locate the problem. We utilize the latest technology in acoustic and line tracing equipment to quickly and accurately pinpoint the problem area.
Residential leak detection can be done in a series of steps, each step brings us closer to understanding what we need to know in order to offer you the best and most cost effective solution to your problem.
Visual inspection. We can tell a lot just by looking and by what you tell us. We will examine your water meter for movement and conduct a pressure test on your water system. If the meter is moving or the pressure test fails we may check the perimeter of your home for wet planters and inspect the interior of your home for evidence of water.
Acoustic survey. Using equipment specifically designed and calibrated to hear leak sounds we listen to each water outlet and supply in your home to help us isolate the leaking line.
Line tracing. Tracing helps us better determine where the leaking line is located.
Isolation. This is where we expose both ends of the leaking line and stop the leak. Using the information from our electronic survey we will open a small section of the wall to expose the plumbing system. The leaking pipe is then cut and capped to stop the leak. When it is confirmed that the leak has been stopped then the wall is opened at the other end of the pipe, the repair method is discussed with you and scheduled.
We offer a full range of repair options. We work hard to provide you with the best and most cost effective solution to your problem, give us a chance and we will make you a customer for life!
